The City of Houston, in partnership with the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), received a FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant in 2015.
Through this grant program, FEMA will provide funding to elevate qualifying flood-prone homes, with highest priority given to Severe Repetitive Loss and Repetitive Loss properties.
All properties must have a current NFIP flood insurance policy to be eligible. If you missed the meeting and would like to verify eligibility for property elevation funding, please contact pwefmagrant@houstontx.gov
