The City of Houston, in partnership with the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), received a FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant in 2016.
Through this grant program, FEMA will provide funding to elevate qualifying flood-prone homes, with highest priority given to Severe Repetitive Loss and Repetitive Loss properties.
All properties must have a current NFIP flood insurance policy to be eligible.
